Renolda Gardens and Village
I have had a few new faces traveling from out of town to get some mini session photos and sometimes people just want to do more than take photos when they dress up and get out of the house!! Reynolda has a lot to offer on a fall day, so below I have listed a few of my favorite things to do around the area that would make for a great day trip in Winston-Salem.
Dough Joes Coffee and Doughnuts:
Enjoy the best freshly made doughnuts and a cup of coffee in this adorable coffee shop in Reynolda Village. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area which is great during the fall season, or if it happens to be chilly, they offer a warm and cozy indoor seating area with soft couches and chairs and beautiful window seats!! I HIGHLY suggest this place and often go there myself:))
Theodores Market and Bar
Theodores Market and Bar is right above Dough Joes. Pop in for lunch or dinner at the market, or head over to theodore’s bar to grab a delicious drink from their specialty cocktails menu. The vibe of this place is truly amazing and I suggest it to soo many people looking for fun and cute food/drink places!!
Penny Path Cafe
There is so much to say about penny path! This cute little crepe shop in Reynolda village is one of our favorite breakfast and lunch spots. Although I have never been there for dinner, I often see soooo many people there who love it! Its good for any time of day and any time of year. Our personal favorite is to split one savory and one sweet crepe to get the best of both worlds.
Village Tavern (In Reynolda)
Stopping in for lunch or dinner? Village tavern is a great spot to stop. My personal favorite is sitting in the outdoor patio section during a cool fall morning or evening. They have great food and a great atmosphere that never disappoints
Nature Trails
Reynolda is known for the beautiful walking trails around the village. There is many different areas you can walk, and they feature maps along the way so you can make a path that is best for you!
Reynolda Gardens
Reynolda gardens is located by the Reynolda House Museum, and is a great place to look around at beautiful plants and flowers depending on the time of year. It is free to walk around the gardens and you can even take a stop inside the greenhouse (If it is open)
I am in no way sponsored by or affiliated with anything Reynolda related, I just love the area decided to give some input into the area for those who are looking to travel for any of my sessions in the future!! Thank you for reading:))
