There are a million things I could say about every wedding I photograph… but come on….. a wedding inside a library that’s multiple stories tall? You have to be kidding me!
From the moment I met Lilly and TJ, I could tell they had something special. The kind of effortless connection that makes you smile just watching them together. Their wedding took me on an adventure to Baltimore, Maryland, where they celebrated their love at the breathtaking George Peabody Library…a venue that truly feels like stepping into a storybook.
A Morning Full of Joy
The day started in an artsy hotel right down the road. We spent the morning in the cutest suite surrounded by laughter, happy tears, and the best energy. There were nerves, excitement, and that quiet buzz that only wedding mornings have. And honestly, as cheesy as it sounds, the entire day was filled with so much love. You could feel it in every room.
The Ceremony Among the Stacks
We made the short walk to The George Peabody Library, and I don’t think I’ll ever get over that first moment walking inside. Every inch of that building tells a story; the towering bookshelves, the iron railings, the soft light filtering through the atrium. Lilly and TJ chose to keep the décor simple, letting the venue’s natural beauty shine.
The florals by Woodland Floral Design Co were absolutely stunning — delicate yet impactful, tying together their romantic and timeless vision perfectly.

For any indoor-loving bride, this venue is a dream. The library is perfect for ceremonies, the gallery is ideal for cocktail hour, and the spiral staircase? Straight out of a cinematic princess moment.

Every single vendor played a role in making this day so magical, and Hannah Elizabeth Events coordinated it all flawlessly. Having a planner who knew the area and handled every detail with care made such a difference. It truly allowed everyone to simply soak up the day.
Dancing Beneath the Fairy Lights
When it came time for the reception, the library transformed into a twinkling dream. Fairy lights stretched across the balconies, creating a soft, romantic glow. As Lilly and TJ danced beneath the lights, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
Dinner flowed seamlessly into the dance party. The DJ kept the energy high, and of course, we had to scream along to “Pink Pony Club” more than once.
A Perfect Ending
As the night came to an end, guests lined up for a confetti-filled exit. It was the perfect final touch to a day that already felt straight out of a movie.
